New 2024 Kicks rust on rotors already

I just got my 2024 Kicks and there's already rust showing on the rotors, even though it only has about 35 kilometers on it! Is this normal? I've been checking out other cars and none of them have that rust peeking through their black rims. It's a bit annoying to see this so early. Has anyone else experienced this, or is it just me?

In most cases it's surface rust if you live in a humid area. A few harder brakes will clean those off in no time. Besides, 35 kilometers for a car that's a year old, it spent more time parked than on the road

I completely agree, it's likely just some surface rust from sitting around. A few solid stops, and it should clear up in no time.
