Tires hasve nitrogen

I have nitrogen in my tires, and when the weather drops quickly, the tire indicator lights show low air pressure. Usually 32 lbs, but on cold days 25 to 27 lbs. I'm wondering if straight old-fashioned air would do the same.

Now that the weather has warmed up, the tire pressure is as it should be and the warning light has gone off.
