Dealing with Radio Issues

I dont know if anyone else has had weird problems with their radio, mine is a 2021 SR, and lately the infotainment system has been acting glitchy, sometimes the radio won't turn on at all, other times it freezes mid station or randomly switches to bluetooth even when nothing's connected. Tried resetting the head unit already and the firmware looks current, but the problem keeps coming back. It's more annoying than anything, but considering how much driving I do, it's starting to wear thin.

Ugh, that sounds really frustrating, especially with all that driving you've been doing! It could be a software glitch causing the trouble. Even if your firmware looks up to date, it might be worth doing a full reset, just hold down the power button for about 10 to 15 seconds. Also, have you checked for any updates from your dealer? Sometimes they have fixes that can help. Oh, and are there any aftermarket gadgets hooked up?

Mine started doing similar stuff last year, what helped me was disconnecting the battery for about 10 minutes, basically a hard reset and it behaved better after that or maybe get the dealer to reflash or replace under warranty, so if you're still covered, it's worth a shot.

A full system reset by disconnecting the battery for a few minutes worked for my sister's Kicks.

Sounds frustrating! Agree with everyone else here. hope you already tried a hard reset by pulling the infotainment fuse for a few minutes. Otherwise, a visit to dealer is the best way to go
