My 2021 Kicks is perfect and has been really good to me. I'm only at 32k miles right now but the warranty has lapsed already. Then all of a sudden something's off with the under chassis so I got it checked, and the dealer said I need to replace the wheel bearings already? I'm not happy about that news because for all I know it's due at 75k miles at the least. What could have been the reason for this? Is there any alternative? I can't pay that much at once, especially since I'm not yet thinking about replacements lol.

Wheel bearings at 32k? That sounds super premature. I'd be annoyed too!you need to get a second opinion from another mechanic. Just to be sure the dealer's diagnosis is spot on

You might want to get a second opinion from a trusted indie shop because you see dealerships lean hard on the replacement route even if it's just noise from something else. If it is the bearing, aftermarket options can be way cheaper than OEM and just as good

a wheel bearing at 32k means it was bad from the factory of the dealer is trying to rip you off. I'd get a second, third and even fourth opinion on this. Smells fishy as heck
