Best gas mileage?

In my 2022 Kicks, the best gas mileage I have achieved was 42.9 mpg. That was on a cooler temperature night, going from in town to out in the country—about 20 miles distance.
My average around town during the day mileage is about 33.5 mpg. These numbers are with 87 octane.

The Kicks e-Power functions similar to an electric vehicle, but it includes a gas generator that charges the battery. How about you?

I've been hovering around 34–35 mpg average in mixed driving, but never cracked 40 like you did, best I got was 38.2 on a longer highway run, light traffic, windows up, and cruise set. Might have to try a night run like yours, 42.9 is actually impressive for a non hybrid on regular gas

Those are great numbers! But honestly, EPA estimates often underplay what these small crossovers can actually do when driven smartly especially in cooler temps with light traffic and no AC.

I'm hovering around 30 myself, but I'm doing city driving about 95% of the time. Getting on the highway gets me to about 37. It's a 2019 Kicks, FWD
